Are they protective boots?

Yes, they are safety boots made for industrial work environments, especially that of construction where sharp objects are present.

Are the boots CSA certified?

Yes, they are CSA certified with Grade 1 protective toe to withstand impacts up to 125 joules and sole puncture protection to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 pounds). They are electric shock resistant too!

How light are they?

Velocity boots are one of our lightest leather boots with size 9 weighing less than 700gm/boot (approx. 1.5lb).

What kind of leather is used for the boots?

Black boots are made of full grain leather which is the strongest and most durable part of the hide. The smooth surface makes it easier to wipe off dust and keep the boots clean. Wheat boots are in nubuck leather which is a buffed and sanded down version of full grain leather giving it a softer and an aesthetic appeal. Wheat being a quintessential work boot colour hides dust better too.

What type of toe cap do they have?

They have composite toe cap which is lightweight, comfortable and metal free. Composite toe caps are extremely popular and meet the same CSA safety standards as a steel toe.

How comfortable are they?

With a lightweight and compression-resistant midsole these boots are made for constant movement and extended hours on your feet.
