These past few weeks have been truly unlike anything we've experienced before. For an organization that believes in the power of enriching our customers’ shopping experience through human interaction, we are acutely aware that your ability to connect with your friends, family and retail partners has been instantly impacted.

In light of these unprecedented times, we wanted to share an update on what we're doing to help and what we're focusing on to continue to serve you.

Continuing to offer you full flexibility

We’ve taken steps to control the number of employees in our facility and asked that our customers and employees practice social distancing. We are doing everything we can to deliver on the essential products you need. We are committed to doing our best to continue helping you navigate through this challenge, and this includes providing essential products while protecting the health and well-being of our employees and customers.

Recently we announced options available to you to place your orders, whether it be online at, over the phone or by visiting our Drive-Up Service Kiosk. We remain committed to offering you the same level of flexibility by connecting with one of our professional staff associates readily available to service your everyday needs.

While the economy has slowed down, we are committed to rising from this economic downturn and operating safely under these new alternatives. Behind the scenes, our team is using this time to improve your shopping experience, whether by deploying new programs on or by accelerating the launch of our new Drive-up Service Kiosk, we'll be ready for you whenever it's the right time to shop with us again. Being an essential business to you is what matters most to us.

Temporary changes to IHL’s product offering

For the well-being of all customers and employees, and to comply with new provincial mandates, we have made a number of temporary adjustments to our retail and online product offering to encourage social distancing. While our retail showroom is temporarily closed to the public until further notice, we are pleased to introduce the launch of our Pick-up Counter Centre located at the Contractor Desk around the back of the building. It will be available to you Monday – Friday from 6:00am – 5:00pm. This new Counter Pick-up service replaces our Drive-Up service kiosk on a go forward basis and operates under limited access to our facility.

Our staff has been trained to proactively manage the traffic and to ensure as few customers are gathered next to one another as possible to ensure social distancing is maintained. If you plan to visit our store, know that we are continuing to take precautions such as enhanced cleaning of our facility and encouraging strong hygiene practices among our staff. Unless supply is simply unavailable, we are offering hand sanitizer upon entry, checkouts and common areas. To further protect our staff and yourself, we ask that when you are visiting our facility, you practice safe social distancing. And of course, if you are feeling unwell, please take care of yourself and follow Public Health guidelines. This is a pivotal time for all Canadians as we navigate the changes required to fight the spread of COVID-19.
